“Flex on these Hoes”
Flex (verb): a boastful statement or display
Flex on these Hoes parades the spirit of bravado and braggadocio. This exhibit featured vinyl illustrations and two life-sized puzzles, and a video installation. Viewers were also invited to question the social contexts in which Black masculine youth are permitted to express agency of their own sense of power in a grandiose and brash way without social consequences.
